Meet our Team

  • Founder

As the founder of JOA., I’m passionate about creating spaces where young women and girls can discover their true identity in Christ. I hold a BBA in Entrepreneurship from Kennesaw State University and am currently pursuing my MBA.

With three years of experience at a Christian nonprofit, I’ve grown in bridging cultures, building relationships, and mentoring the next generation.

Through JOA.’s programs, events, and community initiatives, I strive to empower young women to embrace their faith, develop leadership, and step confidently into their God-given purpose.

  • ATL Joa Ambassador

I am passionate about empowering young women and girls to embrace their identity in Christ. I graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Neurology, and my faith and education guide me in serving others.

As JOA.’s Ambassador, I help bridge the organization and the community, inspiring and uplifting those we serve. I’ve been actively involved in my church, including children’s ministry, and I currently mentor children to grow in faith and purpose. I am proud to be part of the JOA. ‘Ohana.

Statement of intent

At Joa., our mission is to honor, not profit from, culture. We approach the beauty, traditions, and values of Maui with respect and humility, aiming to uplift, inspire, and give back.

We ensure our work benefits the Maui community by:

Supporting local voices and respecting cultural authenticity.

Giving back through donations, service, and partnerships that strengthen the community.

Creating opportunities for education, empowerment, and identity building aligned with local needs and shared values.

We carry kuleana for Maui—to serve with compassion and glorify God through our work. Joa. exists as a bridge, celebrating culture while promoting faith, community, and identity, standing with Maui, not over it.

why joa.?

Many young girls and women struggle with identity, self-worth, and belonging in a culture that often distorts beauty and value. These challenges can lead to insecurity, unhealthy relationships, and self-doubt. For young adult women (18–30), the transition to adulthood can feel overwhelming—balancing education, career, and personal growth while seeking authentic community and purpose.

Joa. exists to restore identity in Christ and foster a culture of peace, beauty, and belonging. Through biblically grounded resources, mentorship, and community experiences, we affirm women in their God-given worth.

For young girls, we provide mentorship and discipleship; for young adult women, we offer community and opportunities to grow, heal, and pour into the next generation. By combining spiritual teaching, community, and purposeful products, Joa bridges personal growth and collective impact, meeting both the inner need for identity and the call to serve others.
